Terms of Service

These terms apply to all services commissioned through devkayo.de.

1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern all commissions, plugin fixes, security audits, and other services provided by DevKayo (Keller Online Services, Kevin Keller, Switzerland). By submitting a commission request you agree to these terms.

2. Services

DevKayo offers custom Minecraft plugin development, security audits, and plugin fixes. The exact scope, deliverables, and timeline are agreed upon individually before work begins. No work starts without written confirmation of the scope.

3. Payment

Payment terms are agreed per project. A deposit may be required before work begins on larger commissions. Accepted payment methods: bank wire, PayPal, and major cryptocurrencies. All prices are in EUR unless otherwise agreed.

4. Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates. Delays caused by unclear requirements, missing access, or third-party dependencies are not the responsibility of DevKayo. The client will be notified promptly of any significant delay.

5. Revisions

Minor revisions within the agreed scope are included. Changes that alter the original scope are treated as new work and may incur additional charges. Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives full ownership of the delivered plugin code. DevKayo retains the right to reference the project publicly (e.g. in a portfolio) unless the client explicitly requests confidentiality in writing.

7. Liability

DevKayo is not liable for damages resulting from the use or misuse of delivered software, including data loss, server downtime, or security breaches caused by third-party modifications. The client is responsible for testing in a staging environment before deploying to production.

8. Cancellation

Either party may cancel a project before work has started with no charge. If work has begun, the client owes payment for the portion completed. Deposits are non-refundable once work has started.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Zug, Switzerland.

10. Changes

DevKayo reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of a commission agreement governs that agreement.
